Junk computers and electronics are labeled as "donations" and then container loads of broken down electronics are dumped and then the burden of disposal is placed on the "recipient country". There are e-waste atrocities all over the world. The pictures I have seen of the ones in China are far worse. This is old and boring news, why do I care about it when I am coming to your site to look for ways to work together to find the next chapter of aid and development- or at least a laugh or two? Have you seen William Easterly's blog. You guys should be like that but better- pointing out an old PBS story doesn't help me- you guys should be the thought leaders in this field and right now, you are simply the thought followers.
